‘Z’ category security, which has been granted to Delhi CM Rekha Gupta after she was attacked, is among the highest levels of VIP protection in India. As per the MHA's Yellow Book, it involves 22–25 personnel, including PSOs, commandos, armed escorts and guards. Provided by the CRPF, it ensures 24x7 layered protection with surveillance, close bodyguards and armed response teams.
