What is H3N2, the flu virus spreading across Delhi-NCR?
H3N2, spreading across Delhi-NCR, is a subtype of the influenza A virus known to cause seasonal flu outbreaks. Its symptoms include fever, headache, sore throat, cough and exhaustion among others. First detected in humans in 2011, the virus spreads through respiratory droplets released when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks and through close contact with contaminated surfaces.
