What is Werewolf Syndrome? Rare disorder with abnormal hair growth
Werewolf Syndrome, medically called "Hypertrichosis", is a rare disorder that causes excessive hair growth across the body, including the face. As per reports, the condition can be "congenital" (present at birth due to genetic reactivation) or "acquired" later in life due to factors like malnutrition, cancer, or certain drugs. With only about 50 recorded cases worldwide, it remains extremely rare.
