What will get cheaper as India-European free trade agreement comes into effect?
The India-European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), which was signed on 10 March 2024, came into effect on Wednesday. Under this, several Swiss products like watches, chocolates, biscuits and clocks will gradually get cheaper over 10 years. Moreover, wines, apparel, and cut and polished diamonds will also see duty cuts.
