Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava, is a five-day festival that celebrates the annual return of Goddess Durga to her maternal home. The five days of festivities are observed as follows: Maha Sashthi, Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami, Maha Navami, and Vijaya Dashami. This year, the festival will take place from September 28 to October 2.
