During his meeting with European leaders, US President Donald Trump called German Chancellor Friedrich Merz a "very strong person" and his "friend". While praising him, Trump joked about Merz getting a sun tan. "You look great with your tan! Where did you get that tan? I want to get a tan like that," said Trump, generating laughter from other leaders.
