Which states/UTs have the highest crime rate in India?
According to NCRB 2023 report, Kerala reported highest crime rate in the country with 1,631.2 crimes per one lakh of population. This is followed by Delhi (1,602), Gujarat (806.3), Haryana (739.2), Tamil Nadu (701.4), Manipur (627.8), Madhya Pradesh (570.3), Telangana (481.6), Maharashtra (470.4), Andaman and Nicobar Islands (464.8) and Odisha (431.2).
