Who are BJP's new state chiefs as party moves closer to elect national president?
BJP on Tuesday elected VP Ramalingam and K Beichhua as chiefs for Puducherry and Mizoram units, respectively. Ramchander Rao, Rajeev Bindal, Ravindra Chavan and Mahendra Bhatt were named chiefs of Telangana, Himachal, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand respectively. BJP's Constitution requires election of its presidents in at least 19 of its 37 organisational states before electing National President.
