Who could be Japan's next PM as Ishiba resigns?
Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba's resignation has sparked a leadership race in the Liberal Democratic Party. Contenders include Sanae Takaichi, who could become Japan's first female PM; Shinjiro Koizumi, a political heir who may be the youngest PM; and Yoshimasa Hayashi who has been Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary. From the opposition former PM Yoshihiko Noda is also in the race.
