Congress leader KN Rajanna, who resigned as Karnataka Cooperation Minister on Monday over remarks on 'vote theft' allegations, was born in Karnataka's Tumkur Taluk. He served as an MLA from Madhugiri, winning elections in 2013 and 2023. Rajanna, who holds a BSc and LLB degree, is also the member of the agricultural produce marketing committee in Tumkur.
