Counsellor at India's Permanent Mission to UN in Geneva, Kshitij Tyagi, made headlines by condemning Pakistan as a "failed state" that survives on "international handouts". The 2012 batch IFS (Indian Foreign Service) officer previously served as the First Secretary at India's Permanent Mission to UN. He holds an M Tech degree in Thermal Energy and Environmental Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
