Who is Siraj Wahhaj, Imam recently seen with Zohran Mamdani?
New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani recently shared a picture with 75-year-old Imam Siraj Wahhaj. Prosecutors had identified Wahhaj as an "unindicted co-conspirator" in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Though Wahhaj has denied any terrorist affiliations, he reportedly has a history of extremist rhetoric. He had testified in support of Omar Abdel-Rahman, an Egyptian terrorist leader.
