Albania has appointed the world's first AI-generated minister, named 'Diella', to tackle corruption in the country. Albanian PM Edi Rama said that Diella, which means 'sun' in Albanian, will manage all public tenders, ensuring they are "100% corruption-free". Diella’s avatar is designed as a young woman in traditional Albanian clothing and was first introduced in January as a digital assistant.
