Dr Anca Aldrin, wife of Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, died aged 66 on Tuesday. A Romanian-born chemical engineer with a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh, she worked in clean energy and space business roles, including as treasurer of the California Hydrogen Business Council. Married to Aldrin since 2023, she passed away peacefully beside her husband and son.
