Who was Major Shashidharan Nair, military leader who saved lives?
Major Shashidharan Nair of the Gorkha Rifles saved lives of civilians and his unit. An alum of OTA Chennai, he laid down his life after being critically injured during a search operation at LOC Nowshera Sector. All throughout the search operation, he led from the front like a true military leader.
