Iran suspended visa-free entry for Indians effective from November 22. The decision comes following an increase in fraud and trafficking cases, NDTV reported. The country announced a visa waiver for Indians in February 2024; however, there have been multiple incidents reported where Indians were lured to Iran on false promises of employment or with transit assurances to other countries.
