Why is India concerned about world's largest dam being built by China?
India has expressed concerns about China building world's largest dam on Yarlung Tsangpo river that becomes Brahmaputra in India. The $167-billion dam close to Indian border would give China significant power to regulate or divert the flow of water. Arunachal CM Pema Khandu called it a potential "water bomb", posing an "existential threat" to the state's residents and their livelihoods.
