Why won't Dhruv Jurel be allowed to bat if he replaces Rishabh Pant in Manchester Test?
India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant suffered a foot injury during the first innings of the Manchester Test and was taken for scans. If he's completely ruled out of the Test, Dhruv Jurel can replace him and keep wickets. However, Jurel won't be allowed to bat. As per ICC rules, a fully participating like-for-like replacement is only permitted for concussion substitutions.
