Won't sack him: JK Rowling on Essiedu's support for trans rights
JK Rowling clarified that she will not fire Paapa Essiedu from the upcoming 'Harry Potter' series for supporting trans rights. "I don't have the power to sack an actor from the series and I wouldn't exercise it if I did," she wrote. She added that she doesn't believe in taking away people's jobs for holding beliefs that differ from hers.
