World no. 204 Vacherot beats cousin to win Shanghai Masters 2025
World number 204 Valentin Vacherot created history by becoming the lowest-ranked player to win at an ATP Masters 1000 event and the first-ever player from Monaco to win an ATP singles title. The 26-year-old defeated his cousin Arthur Rinderknech 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the Shanghai Masters 2025 final. "I wish there could be two winners," Vacherot said after the win.
