World number one Jannik Sinner banned from tennis for 3 months for doping
World number one Jannik Sinner has been banned from tennis for three months after reaching a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) over his two positive drug tests last year. WADA said that it has accepted Sinner's explanation that he was inadvertently contaminated with the banned substance clostebol by his physiotherapist. The 23-year-old Italian won Australian Open last month.
