World’s 2nd-largest diamond awaits price tag, dazzles collectors
The 2,492-carat Motswedi diamond, the world's second-largest gem, continues to dazzle global collectors while awaiting valuation. It was discovered in August 2024 at Botswana. Margaux Donckier, HB Antwerp’s public affairs director says pricing depends on inspection and polishing potential. With immense rarity, the diamond may land in a museum or glitter in a Sheikh's private collection.
