Yamuna crosses warning level in Delhi
The water level of Yamuna river in Delhi crossed the 'warning level' of 204.50 metres at 5 am on Thursday, as water increased in the river after discharge from Haryana’s Hathnikund barrage. By 9 am, the water level had reached 204.89 metres, the highest in this season. This is close to the 'danger level' of 205.33, which generally warrants evacuation.
