You can't impose a restriction: Alvi on Tharoor's nepotism article
Congress' Rashid Alvi reacted to party MP Shashi Tharoor's article on nepotism titled 'Indian Politics Are a Family Business', saying, "The public makes the decisions in a democracy." "You cannot impose a restriction that says you cannot contest elections because your father was an MP," he stated. Alvi added, "It's happening in every field...What way will you find for this?"
