Music composer AR Rahman said one cannot remix someone's song without their permission in the name of "reimagining". "You can't take a song from a movie and use it in another movie six years later, saying you're reimagining it...You could post it on Instagram, but certainly not make it mainstream," he said. Rahman's songs 'Humma Humma', 'Muqabla' have been reimagined.
