Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has granted Navratna status to Numaligarh Refinery, making it the 27th Central Public Sector Enterprise to have the title. The refinery's annual turnover was ₹25,147 crore and net profit was ₹1,608 crore for FY 2024-25. Oil India is the majority shareholder of the refinery at 69.63%, followed by the Assam government at 26%.
