US and China will establish direct military communication channels to prevent conflicts and ease regional tensions. This agreement follows a recent historic meeting between Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping in South Korea, with US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth claiming that ties have "never been better". During Trump and Xi's meeting, US also reduced tariffs on China by 10%.
