A total of 4,558 incidents of stubble burning were detected in Punjab and Haryana between September 15 and November 10, Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) told Supreme Court. Punjab reported 4,195 incidents, while Haryana recorded 363 incidents in the period. The CAQM said that stubble burning remained a matter of "serious concern" which worsened the air pollution in Delhi-NCR.
