Punjab Police arrested Kanchanpreet Kaur, the daughter of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa, who contested and lost November 11 Tarn Taran bypoll. The arrest comes after an FIR against Canada-based gangster Amritpal Singh Bath for allegedly making a threatening WhatsApp call to a voter during poll period. Kaur is accused of collaborating with Bath to intimidate voters.
