All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) hit out at 'Anupamaa' makers, saying a crew member's death on its set was "institutionalised murder caused by greed and negligence". Seeking ₹1 crore compensation for family of deceased Vineet Mandal, AICWA head Suresh Gupta said the shoot continued even after his death. He also flagged "hazardous conditions" for workers on the show's set.
