Market indices Sensex and Nifty ended lower on Tuesday. BSE Sensex fell over 500 points to end above 85,100 mark, and the Nifty closed trade 143 points lower, testing the 26,000 level. Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries were among the top losers. Notably, the Indian rupee hit a new all-time low of 89.85 against US dollar on Tuesday.
