Odisha's Nuapada assembly constituency recorded a huge voter turnout of 83.45% during the bypoll held on Tuesday, Additional Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sushanta Kumar Mishra said. "People were airlifted to some of the critical booths," he said, adding that the process was conducted smoothly. The voter turnout was nearly 10% higher than that recorded in the 2024 general assembly elections.
