The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) Pune has started converting 74 'Shivshahi' buses into non-AC semi-luxury buses, mirroring the 'Hirkani' buses' format, due to operational issues and a focus on electrification. Arun Siya, divisional controller of MSRTC Pune, stated that the conversion aims to utilise old buses effectively rather than scrapping them.
