Finland's border regions have been losing an estimated €1 million (₹10 crore) in tourist income every day since the country closed its border with Russia, reported Bloomberg. Finland shut all crossings along its 1,430-km land border with Russia in late 2023, citing security concerns. The regions are now seeking special economic zone status for tax relief.
