Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Thursday said the party has become more Leftist in recent years to counter the "divisive politics" of BJP. "Whether that's tactical adjustment or philosophical conviction or whatever remains to be seen," he said. "If you look at say Dr Manmohan Singh's party, you could argue it was more consciously centrist in its approach," added Tharoor.
