Two senior Pakistan Supreme Court judges have resigned in protest against the controversial 27th Constitutional Amendment. Justices Mansoor Ali Shah and Athar Minallah tendered their resignations hours after Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari signed the amendment into law. The amendment would lead to creation of a new federal court and shift powers from the apex court.
