Researchers at the University of Houston have discovered a heat-conducting material named boron arsenide (BAs), which is better than diamond. The scientists found that when BAs crystals are produced with exceptional purity, they can reach thermal conductivity values greater than 2,100 (W/mK) at room temperature. Currently, diamond is considered to be the best heat-conducting material.
