China's cybersecurity authority has accused US government of being behind the theft of Bitcoin worth about $13 billion, a Bloomberg report said. The hack targeted LuBian Bitcoin mining pool in 2020, when 1,27,272 Bitcoin tokens were stolen. The authorities said the theft was not the work of ordinary cybercriminals but rather a “state-level hacker operation” directed by the US government.
