The Election Commission of India has declared the first winner in the Bihar Assembly elections. JD(U) leader Maheshwar Hazari has won from Kalyanpur assembly constituency by over 38,000 votes. He secured 1,18,162 votes while his opponent, CPI (ML)'s Ranjeet Kumar Ram, got 79,576 votes. Jan Suraaj Party's Ram Balak Paswan received 16,574 votes.
