To survive severe floods a Thai family clung to their furniture for 48 hours. Stating that there was no time to escape, the family rushed to their home's second floor and perched atop a table, window frame and a washing machine. "We weren't thinking about anything else except surviving...We wanted to make sure everyone around us was safe," they said.
