Dark chocolate and berries may improve memory levels and reduce stress, according to a study published in the journal Current Research in Food Science. Researchers found that flavanols present in berries and cocoa, found in dark chocolate, trigger responses similar to those induced by exercise, activating the central nervous system and enhancing attention, alertness, and memory.
