Former England batter Robin Smith, who passed away at the age of 62, was nicknamed "The Judge". He got the name in his teens because of his long and curly hair which resembled an English judge's wig. Smith, who made his international debut at age 25 in Test against West Indies in 1988, was known for his front-foot square cut.
