Minister Konda Surekha apologised for her previous allegations against actor Nagarjun Akkineni and his family. She had said, "KTR asked to send Samantha in return for not demolishing N-Convention Centre...Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go to KTR...but she said no...That led to divorce." She withdrew these statements, saying they were not intended to hurt or defame Nagarjuna Garu or his family.
