Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif is "deliberately staying away" from country to avoid notifying the appointment of Field Marshal Asim Munir as country's first Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), security expert Tilak Devasher said. He stated Sharif left for Bahrain and then London just as the November 29 deadline approached- the day Munir's original three-year term as Army Chief ended.
