Zee Entertainment laid off around 200 employees amid a restructuring exercise that began last year, reported Economic Times. "The exercise is part of consistent and strategic efforts taken to ensure sharper focus on goals and performance," said company spokesperson. Last year, Zee announced laying off 15% of its staff, nearly 700 people, after merger collapse with Sony Pictures Networks India.
