A special court in Mumbai has rejected Mehul Choksi's plea, seeking dismissal of proceedings initiated by the ED to declare him a fugitive economic offender. Choksi, who is currently in a Belgian prison, is a key accused in the multi-crore Punjab National Bank fraud. The ED argued that Choksi has not yet been handed over to Indian agencies.
