Congress leader Shashi Tharoor expressed "serious disappointment" over the party's poor performance in the Bihar elections. He said, "I think there'll have to be some very serious introspection...and studying what went wrong, what were the...organisational mistakes." He, however, added that Congress wasn't the senior partner in the alliance, and that RJD also has to look at its own performance.
