The Special Investigation Team investigating the alleged theft of gold from Sabarimala Temple has arrested former Travancore Devaswom Board president N Vasu. The theft is believed to have occurred during his tenure as TDB commissioner between 2012 and 2019. Constituted by the Kerala High Court, the SIT has already detained three senior TDB employees in connection with the case.
