The wind direction has been predominantly from Haryana-Punjab, bringing in pollution from stubble burning, transport, power plants, and industry across the region. Moreover, a rise in Punjab's stubble burning, which reported 442 fires on Saturday, further worsened Delhi's air, experts say.
