J&K Police on Wednesday carried out a massive crackdown against the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) cadres in the valley following the Delhi car blast. Police raided over 200 locations, including the houses of JeI members and their associates. After the raids, 500 individuals affiliated with banned outfits were interrogated, and many were moved to a district jail under preventive laws.
